Creativity has been a constant in my life, it is essential to who I am. My choreographic work often investigates ideas through improvisation to create a sequencing of events, which embrace the human condition and explore the dynamics of movement and music to create context. Other times my work is driven by a cause, a strong message that needs to be delivered. In either case I frequently combine other media such as video, slide projections, props, and hanging sets to amplify the visual intent of each piece. My musical background informs my creative process as well as photography and cinematography which influence the visual aspects of my work.
